Yume No Yume Lotus Flower, low smoke sandalwood incense

Since ancient times, sandalwood has always been considered a precious and sacred fragrance. Treat yourself to a relaxed moment and enjoy its clear and bright notes. In the Kobin Wakashu, the Buddhist poet Sojo Henjo (816 - 890) ask himself:
“Although they grow in muddy waters,
lotus leaves have a clean spirit.
But why do they fool us making us confuse
the dew on their surface with a gem?”

The Yume no Yume incenses - literally dream of dreams - combine poetry and fragrances. They evoke quotes from old poems like the Kokin Wakashu, Anthology of Ancient and Modern Japanese Poetry. This collection of waka poems was published in the 10th century, about 100 years before the famous Tale of Genji.

Olfactory pyramid:
- Top notes: floral, fruity.
- Middle notes: cedarwood, woody.
- Base notes: sandalwood, musk.

This large box is ideal if you burn incense regularly. Its lovely design also makes it an original fragrant gift! Please note that the number of sticks is approximate and may vary depending on the batch.
