Thich Nhat Hanh
Thich Nhat Hanh (October 11, 1926 – January 22, 2022) was a Vietnamese Buddhist monk, peace activist, poet and writer. Since 1966, he has led a monastic community and lay group 'Order of Inter-Being' (Tiep Hien in Vietnamese), which teaches mindfulness training and engaged Buddhism. In 1982 he founded the Buddhist center Plum Village, a meditation community in the Dordogne region of France.
